Peepable one of the cool kids at the Anthill Cool Company Awards05th December 2014
The Peepable team is elated and very humbled to be named the ‘Coolest Company in Australia’, as well as winning the Innovation Award at the Anthill Cool Company awards in Melbourne last night.
The Cool Company Awards were launched in 2006 as a way for Anthill to acknowledge and celebrate Australian organisations that are doing things differently to bring about positive change. Previous winners have included two-person start-ups, not-for-profit social enterprises, large private companies and publicly-listed corporations.
Besides taking home top honours, Peepable was recognised in the Innovation category which is an award given to a “business that – through being novel, unique or different — generates a dramatic improvement over current conventional solutions.” Peepable was selected based on the originality and strength of our ‘big idea’ and business model.
The Award caps an amazing year for Peepable. We were selected as one of Australia’s top 23 tech companies to pitch at the Tech23 Conference in Sydney, got to visit Silicon Valley and Boulder CO as part of the Global Accelerator Network tour, and spoke at the G20 Global Cafe on innovation and entrepreneurship.
It’s still early days, but we’re really excited to be recognised by great folk like Anthill founder James Tuckermann and his judging team – and to participate in such as awesome event.
Our beta version, is just around the corner (we promise!) so please stay tuned and register for the first release. Won’t be long now before you can start peeping into the world’s video!
